One of the best Mexican restaurants in Sacramento. Regardless of the location (but this location is a bit better) the vibe is fantastic and very intimate.

The chips and dip at the beginning is so great that I am sure you'll ask for more before your plates arrive.

I ordered a mixture of the tacos and you really can't go wrong. It's a real staple of Sacramento and whenever I'm in town, I'll always go check it out!

To be honest I was expecting the prices to be higher and I actually wasn't all that thrilled to be going. However the lunch menu is very reasonably priced, the chips with salsa and bean dip was awesome! I ate so much of that, that I ended up taking half my entree with me and having lunch at work the next day. Food and service was excellent.

I truly enjoy this place! We have been here twice now and everytime the people are great. They are friendly and attentive even when it's busy. Their happy hour is AMAZING. The drinks and food are top notch!! You won't regret the choice

Not as crazy busy as the one downtown you still get the same vibe from the restaurant though. Busy for a Sunday night but didn’t have to wait to be seated. Food was delicious.

Visited Zocalo University Village for a holiday party. We sampled a lot of the apps and they were all excellent. The skirt steak and fish tacos were also delicious. Can't beat great food and great ambiance! Will definitely be back soon.
