“Been here a few times in the last couple of weeks. It's not great.. But not bad. I order a side of OB fire to dip my fries in every time. It's pretty tasty. But without fail, the guy at the counter who gives you your food sets it off to the side and makes me ask again. It's annoying, and he makes it seem like I'm not supposed to ask for it. Weird. He's a bit blunt also, not very friendly. I've only gone because it's a quick walk from work, but if I'm not in a hurry, I'd rather eat elsewhere.”

“We love this place. Harry is not much of a conversationalist, probably a bit of a curmudgeon like me, but he is quietly friendly and the food is very good. If you have read any of my reviews before, you know I really like my coffee. Harry has excellent strong coffee. His place is on the smallish side, but its intimate, and has good street parking. It is on 16th, so if you're going during rush hour, watch out for commuter traffic.”

“We were heading to see the Capitol and take a boat cruise. Thankfully the boat cruise was booked so we turned our attention to food and drink. We ended up at the Iron Horse Tavern and had the best time watching the tourists, locals and pub crawlers cruise by. We ate on the patio and the weather was just perfect. With music playing and people laughing and interacting with pedestrians, it was such a chill couple of hours. The food was excellent and came out quickly. The service was excellent and out server was as friendly as she was professional. Our orders cave out exactly as ordered and exceeded expectations. So many times when you go someplace with decor as cool as the decor at Iron Horse Tavern, it's a crutch that can sometimes forgive sub par food or service. I can really tell you that this is not the case here. The food was perfect, the service was excellent and the drinks tasted great AND served their purpose ????. We will meet friends here again for sure. We're stumbled on this place and are really glad we did. Keep up the great job Iron Horse Tavern!”

“Delicious burgers and fries. Parking can be found on the street or a structure. We ordered Greek burger, avocado burger (generous portion of avocado), and New England fries (clam chowder/bacon/cheddar). We had the sweet potato fries and onion rings and both were quite delicious. I have been to many places where the burgers are good, but fries are decent, but this place has both. Finished it off with a strawberry shake which was fairly simple and basic and nothing super special. Would come again if we ever in Sac Town.”

“It’s tradition to have breakfast here theist before one of the guys gets married. I was the last one of the guys to get married and as per tradition we came for breakfast the day before. This place will always be pristine! The service is good, the food is excellent (vegan options for those who are interested), and the atmosphere is perfect. “Delicious spot in downtown Sac! Cheap prices, and the food was on point. They do Karaoke on Fridays and open mic on Wednesdays. For some reason it was dead on the Friday night we came and I have no idea why. Cool, cool place. Chicken was grilled and sashimi was fresh and tasty. Lots of good drink options, including a full line of Stubborn soda flavors. One of my new fave spots!”

“My first time here and I have to say it won't be my last. I love Poke and consider myself a connoisseur of this great dish in all its forms. Fish Face presented my with great options that were fresh and very appealing. The service was friendly and I had my Poke in what seemed like seconds (okay it was a few minutes but prepped it right and prepped it fast) and the best part... I forgot to order rice and when I asked for a bowl a nice delicious and flavorful helping was heaped in front of me with a smile. I will be going back very soon and they will get to know me as a regular.”

“This restaurant is owned by the people who also own Lucky Dog ranch in Dixon, and grow some of the best grass-fed beef around. Burgers are superb, the best in town (in my opinion!). Happy hour is a pretty good deal for food and reasonable drinks. Great bartenders and friendly, attentive staff. Our only complaint was with the seasoning mix on the scallops, which left a gritty residue on them.”

“The food and service is like most of the other Jacks-pretty good for stand at the counter. I like this Jacks because it is more spacious and has self serve drinks. The patio is large and shaded. It seems quieter than the one downtown, in terms of echoing and ambient noise. Always plenty of parking in the evening when I go.”
