Be True Cafe

Overall an fairly good restaurant. The chorizo burrito was flavorful and moist, though there was not much avocado. Stay far away from the chocolate croissant though; it was awful - bready and bland. It actually seemed like a frozen croissant that had been thawed 🥵

Upscale cafe. Very clean! High quality foods. Modern inside, cosy and cute outdoor seating patio. No busy car traffic. Great place to ride a bike to. Plenty of parking available.

I order food for corporate lunches every week so I have some experience with the different restaurants in town. Be True is definitely our favorite. The food is just on a whole other level of delicious. I have spent a lot of time on the phone with their staff, namely Desiree and Ruth. They are both so lovely. The put so much care into each order and are so helpful and accommodating. Lastly, the menu has gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options that are all very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Be True is a fantastic place that makes great food. It doesn't show up when you search "Hollister Restaurants" because it's currently labelled "Coffee Shop" instead of something like "Brunch Restaurant," but the food is every bit as good as the drinks. Give this place a shot - I haven't had a menu item yet that I didn't love.
