BaFang Dumpling

Made a phone order and was informed that it’ll be ready within 20 minutes. Got there and picked up our food! It was quick and simple. It will get crowded if you order there so I’d recommend to place A phone order!

Food wasn’t hot but just slightly warm.

Wonton soup- thin skin and the filling was pretty filling. The soup is light.

Corn soup- very watery and needed more cornstarch. I wish they included more corn into the soup.

Sesame noodles- delicious! Cannot go wrong with it. It’s not spicy and the portion is pretty decent. It will stick if not eaten right away! Shake it in the container.

Signature noodles- Its spicy and delicious. Noodles are chewy and will stick together if not eaten right away! I’d recommend if you like spicy noodles! Can shake in the container!

Signature Potstickers- cannot go wrong with this! If it’s your first time, get this.

Kimchi potstickers - it’s okay. I’m not a huge fan of kimchi with anything but if you like kimchi. You made like it!

Black tea - it’s normal. I told them light ice and they were very accommodating!

I’d you are taking it to go. Remember to grab your sauces from the counter in the restaurant! I forgot it and had to look for sauces at home. I was hoping they added sauces since it’s a to go order.

So happy to have this place in my neighborhood. Now I know where to go whenever I miss the taste of home. I love the potstickers and the signature noodles.

Our first time! The chili pepper fried chicken was the star! SO GOOD! I liked the potstickers better than the dumplings but everything was good! The bafang noodles had a good sauce and I enjoyed the chew on the noodles. We can’t wait to go again! Don’t forget to get some sauce over by the table by the door!

BaFang Dumpling doesn't have a huge menu, but that allows them to focus on the dumplings, and that's a good thing.

As the name of the restaurant states, they serve dumplings, and while they make a pretty good steamed dumpling, I really enjoyed the pan fried pot stickers. Lightly fried on one side, they seemed thinner and lighter than their counterparts, but both shared the same filling of cabbage and pork. They had other options, but since this was our first time here, we went with the original.

The hot and sour soup was full of mushrooms, thinly sliced bamboo and tofu. Perfect on a rainy day.

One caveat, I would have liked to see a vegetable option like green beans or bok choy.

The staff was helpful and the restaurant itself was clean, but not inviting. I felt an odd emptiness while we ate there and would have enjoyed the food more at home, but that's just my opinion.

I'll definitely be back — for takeout.

I came back from CDMX (México City) a week ago and just now, I got the chance to see this place DONE. I booked it to the line to place my order and I was in AWWW with the Interior and Layout of Bafang.
The cashier man recommended me to order Bafang Signature Potstickers & Dumplings so I did AND I topped it off with a Soy Wild Mango w/ Boba. I went ham with the sauces and I’m glad I did because all of the flavors really complemented my two orders.
I can’t wait to come back and order from the rest of the menu.
