I love coming to Heem sushi! The foods are fresh, tasty, and the portions are very large. Everyone here is very friendly.
It does get a little bit crowded during dinner time and especially during the weekend.
I can’t stop coming back! Best sushi in Chino Hills. The fishes are so fresh. Plating is beautiful. The rolls are amazing - highly recommend “Miss Gaga” - avocado, tuna, salmon & 2 other fishes, wrapped with krab meat & soy paper (no rice). The eel hand roll has 3 pieces of eel - A LOT of eel for any Japanese restaurant. Also recommend soft shell crab (so much crab meat). I wish more people know more about this restaurant. Service has room for improvement; if the servers are more warm & friendly, I think it will be a great customer experience.
(10/22/2023) Service is weird but not the best. Prices are reasonable. The Chirashi bowl is pretty good. Sunset Roll isn't what I expected but decent. But Tonkotsu (Bento) and miso soup can make it better. Recommend sashimi and Chirashi because it is fresh. Maybe a sushi place for alternatives only in my opinion. ( It's good but some sushi places are better)
Heemo Sushi is found right next to 85° and both are found within Crossroads Marketplace.
They serve typical dishes like sushi, sashimi, udon soup, but they seem to specialize in sushi rolls as they have a large selection of them. We ordered the Aloha and Omega rolls, of which both were good. We also ordered the udon and brussel sprouts (w/spicy mayo sauce), again, both very good.
The food was served quickly and the hot dishes were very hot too, but in a good way (you don't want cold udon).
The staff was extremely attentive and friendly and the place was clean.
My one complaint — the music. I don't mind music at restaurants, but I'm not looking for that club vibe either. Just here to enjoy some good sushi with friends and family.
Replaced the Sushi restaurant that used to be here, so decided to give them a try. Ordered a few rolls and some udon as well as a ramen combo. Food came out fast and tasted great. Thanks for the hospitality.
