I like this place.. ramen was tasty and the spicy tuna crispy rice was delicious. I do like the fact you can add a mini rice bowl to your ramen.
We stumbled on this place when we were headed to another place for dinner, and we decided to dine in after a customer waiting for takeout raved of how good it was, and he was spot on. It was one of the best ramen I've had, and the sides were excellent. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was amazing. I'd go back just for that. We also tried the pork Buns and they were yummy. I tried the tonkatsu ramen and it was delicious creamy broth and the pork was perfectly cooked and the egg was perfection. My husband tried the chicken bowl and he loved it too. The place is small but felt cozy and beautifully designed. Highly recommend.
Finally, there is a real authentic Japanese ramen place around the Chino area. I had this in its Irvine location and I think the Chino location is even better because there is no wait if you go earlier. Both tonkatsu and shoyu ramen are good. If you like strong flavor, tonkatsu is definitely the one while shoyu gives you a fresher soup base. Don't forget to ask for the garlic that will give you a completely different tasting experience. Highly recommended!
I recently ordered the spicy dipping noodle to go, a dish I often enjoy from HiroNori's Monterey Park and Irvine locations. The ramen noodles and toppings were up to their usual standards.
However, I noticed that the dipping sauce was quite salty, and the chili oil tasted a bit aged. Additionally, there seemed to be a lack of ponzu flavor in both my dish and my sister's chashu bowl, which is usually a highlight. My family member, who ordered the tonkotsu ramen, also found the soup to be overly salty.
I would kindly suggest considering some adjustments to enhance the overall food experience.
Loved it here. So excited there is finally one closer to us. Normally we go to the location in Orange. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is nice. Cannot wait to come again. Also the infused water was delicious 🤩
