My recent visit to Kaur Cafe, an authentic Indian restaurant, left me utterly impressed and satisfied. From the moment we stepped in, the warm ambiance and inviting aromas set the stage for what turned out to be a memorable dining experience.
Having never tried Indian cuisine before, we were pleasantly surprised by the helpful and attentive service we received. The staff at Kaur Cafe went above and beyond to guide us through the menu, patiently explaining each dish and offering insightful recommendations. Their genuine enthusiasm for their cuisine made us feel comfortable and excited to embark on this culinary journey.
As we delved into the menu, the server's recommendations proved to be spot-on. Each dish was a burst of vibrant flavors and aromas, showcasing the richness and diversity of Indian cuisine.
In conclusion, Kaur Cafe not only excels in serving delicious, authentic Indian cuisine but also prides itself on providing outstanding service. For anyone looking to explore the world of Indian flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit. Kudos to the entire team for making our first foray into Indian cuisine a delightful and memorable one. We can't wait to return and savor more of their culinary delights.
Thank you and we will be back very soon! :)
I often forget this place is here and this is the first time I tried it. I went at lunch on a Monday and was looking to grab food to-go.
I was greeted when I walked in and asked him to explain how the “buffet” works. It’s not a buffet, the food is served to you buffet style. Which was fine with me as I wasn’t staying to eat. He opened each lid and told me what each dish was.
I chose 2 vegetarian dishes and since they don’t have a price for that, I was charged as if I had 1 non vegi and 1 vegi. I didn’t love this, but I was thinking if the food is good, who cares!
Got home and they food was just ok. The rice was not that great and rice is rice, so that was odd. The potatoes were the star of the meal, they were really good. I’ve had much better naan, I had to dip it in the masala sauce.
I think I may try it again, dine-in and not order from the “buffet”.
We drove to this area with the intention of dining next door for sushi, but we saw the sign for "Indian buffet" and decided to try them out. Well, surprise, this was not an Indian Buffet. This is the a fast food kind of joint where the dishes are served up from warmers behind the counter. You basically order lunch combos 1 thru 3 or from an a la carte menu. Hubby and I opted for combo number 2 --- rice, Naan, 1 veggie and 1 non-veggie item. I opted for the butter chicken and aloo gobi (cauliflower and potato). Both tasted ok. What wasn't ok was that they were cold, a bit colder than room temp. At 12:30 pm, I expected my food to be served warm. The rice was warm, and so was the garlic Naan that was freshly baked in the tandoor oven. Hubby's goat curry was tasty, but again served cold. The food prices were reasonable, the taste was ok, but the food temp was unacceptable to me. So sadly, we probably won't return. I would much rather go to Mantra at Ontario Mills or Koyla in Rancho Cucamonga where the dishes are freshly prepared as you order, and served warm.
I came here with my brother and WOW! The food is delicious, my brother and I got the Chicken Tika Masala with rice. We also got Garlic Naan! We enjoyed tasting the flavors of the dish. The atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful. The customer service was fast, great, and the people working there are friendly! We also got complimentary Chai Tea! Will be coming here again soon with my parents!! :D
Great for a quick bite of Indian food!
We enjoyed every dish we had ordered. The Paneer Tikka Masala was really tasty and the naan was freshly made & soft.
The Masala Chai (tea) was on the house
