Taco Joe's Mexican Restaurant

We are regulars here for at least 15 yrs.! Many other regular patrons too! 1 of the few Mexican food places I actually eat at, as I'm a pretty good Mexican food cook myself, like my mama & grandma's!!

We had a great breakfast. We went there for my sons birthday. There were 10 of us and we were seated right away. The food was delicious. Some of us had Mexican food and some had pancakes and French toast. Both types of food were great . The service was excellant. We will be going back again.

I would give the food 4 stars (most of the time) but the service is definitely 1 star worthy. I’ve been coming here since I was a young child, I am 26 now. I’ve seen all the changes and food has stayed pretty consistent. The service on the other hand is VERY BAD! I would say at least for the past two years or so it has been terrible. If you like waiting around for drinks, silverware, napkins, refills, your order and getting your food AFTER people who came in later then you did, be my guess. Call an order in for pick up instead? Go ahead, get home and find some of your order missing if not a whole meal or the wrong thing. This review is NOT based off just one experience but multiple. Why I keep going back? I don’t know, maybe the nostalgia and the sometimes really good food but the service is some of the worse I’ve ever had anywhere. For those reasons I give three stars and I think I’m being generous because the service is that bad.

Their food is good but their dine in service is not good at all. A friend and I went in to eat and there were other available place for us to sit in the main room bu they put us all the way in the back. When we sat at the table there were little ant like bugs crawling on the table. They took forever to get our order. They asked my friend if she wanted a refill brought her one and ignored my glass. I had to stop someone and ask for one. We sat waiting for our bill it never came. We asked for to go boxes hoping that would insinuate to bring the bill but no. We literally had to get up and stand at the front and wait. Then the cashier asked if the gave us a bill. We told her no. And that one had even came back to us.
