In my opinion it's a bit dated on the decor but when I have a bowl of friend rice in front of me nothing else matters. Pure bliss. Will be coming for as long as I'm alive.”

Our favorites are: Sizzling rice soup Spicy crispy shredded beef Mu shu Fried rice & egg flower soups are good too. My son likes the hot & sour soup, but I'm not a fan. Our favorite thing about this restaurant is the amazing servers! They are always friendly & attentive...even when they're unusually busy, which is difficult to do!”

“This place is inside the Montclair plaza which has really updated their food court and it’s options. It’s located on the second floor. Fun fact- this chain started in the UAE and there are only TWO locations in the US. Houston and Montclair(so random!). I got a mixed platter, which was 3.5-4 star worthy. Not worth the price point, in my humble opinion. Will I be back if the mood strikes? Sure. But it won’t be my go-to”

“Don't let the name fool you. The pizza is not a budget, cheaply made version of the original pie. This is an excellent pizza for the price. Consistently delivered hot, with ample cheese and sauce, and a generous amount of the extra toppings that you might order. We've tried other pizza places in the area, and 3.99 is far superior. The ingredients are fresh and rich in flavor, and, again, they cook it to the exact specification that you request. Too often, a pizza place will take your order with the special instructions you give them, however, upon arrival, the pizza is just a 'rubber stamp' of what they give everyone, and that's a sub-par Italian pizza pie experience. Not so with 3.99. We love it!”

When I went in to pick up the food, the service was less than stellar. the woman behind the desk seemed really inconvenienced by my presence and was annoyed by the fact that when she asked about the order I gave my name, because they don't do it by name there--something I could not have known as it was my first visit. The food was not worth the hassle. Sure, the price was okay, but the portions were way smaller than other local spots, and the food wasn't great. The Chicken and broccoli for example the sauce tasted like water and salt with no other flavor, just so salty, and the broccoli was very overcooked. Will not return and would not recommend.”
