We ate here at the suggestion of the hotel we were staying out. The food and service were fantastic. My husband had the chicken fried chicken and I had the hamburger steak with grilled mushrooms and onions. Both came with a choice of potato and were served with green beans, probably the best green beans I have ever eaten. Will definitely stop again if we are ever in this area again.
Stopped by on our way to the Grand Canyon, taking train from Williams, AZ to the GC National Park. Wagon Wheel is a great place to stop on long road trip, WW was about our half way point from Central Valley.
Wagon Wheel is due for a remodeling, but don't focus on that, because the food is very good, generous portions and well priced. I ordered an omelet that I paired with country potatoes and toast, other options can be selected. My husband enjoys a simple breakfast, he had eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. The bacon wasn't cooked as crisp as he likes, but that's more personal taste.
We didn't have to wait for a table, that was a bonus. I can't remember our server's name, but she was friendly and efficient. I like it when the server brings you everything you need before you have to ask for it. Stop by Wagon Wheel for a good meal. great service at an excellent price.
Homemade everything. Excellent service. At an awesome price. In a fun atmosphere. Large menu! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Big truck parking available. So I stop in and out of needles.. I will continue to enjoy some homemade chicken fried stake.
This is a great old fashioned place with good people working there and home style cooking served in generous portions for a fair price. I had the chili size which came with French fries and it filled the plate completely. Not to mention that it was good. Over the years I can't recall ever getting a bad meal. If you want fancy stay in your big city, if you want good come here.
Once again I say a great old fashioned place, but this last visit a little disappointing. Not the food but service. Unfortunately arrived at shift change and was handed off after order placed. I had to ask multiple times for a dipping sauce for my chicken strip and wait until they became to cold to eat. The others order were correctly served and all enjoyed for the most part. 2/20/22 update.
OMG me and the wife absolutely LOVED the food. Everything is homemade and you can taste the love put into the dishes. The service was also amazing and very attentive, mixed with the ambience of dining in a route 66 restaurant. I wish I took pictures of the food but the second it was served it smelled too good and was gone before we realized it. Will definitely make this our go to restaurant whenever we travel and end up back in Needles
