Flamingo Palms Cuban Cafe & Cigar Lounge

This is a great Cuban spot with a large selection of items. The 4 items I had were terrific. It was a bit greasy but good. The meats were well cooked, the soda was refreshing, and the plantains were sweet and thick. Service was slow but they were short staffed since it was just after lunch and I'm sure usually slow. The employees were being polite and quick trying to keep up. Overall I had a great experience here and can't wait to go back.

Great little hidden treasure. The food is delicious and the service outstanding. Me and my wife had a great time. A big " thank you " to our server, Breanna. Very attentive and prompt. Cant wait to go back.

Try one of the Cuban sodas if you go here. I got the ironbeer and loved it. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and it was delicious, especially considering that it was only $8. You can also sub the fries with fried plantain chips. Most of the menu items have plantains in some form. We also got the Cuban fried rice too. We loved it. It is something I would recommend sharing as it is pretty large. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This was my first time having Cuban food and it helped having a server who was knowledgeable.

My visit here was pretty good. Service is probably best on a day that isn't too busy, such as my visit was. I can see how the food takes time to cook, but it's definitely worth it. Fortunately for me, the restaurant wasn't too full, so our food came out relatively quick (10-15 minutes). I would recommend this place and will come back again.
