My husband and I had read a article about vintage must see restaurants. This place was on the list. So we set a date and went. The service was great!! They were super busy but our waitress never made us feel neglected our drinks never ran out. That alone is 5 star in my book. The price and quantity of food i thought was on point. My only issue was the food. I am a vegetarian (lifelong). I knew in the past my family didn’t come here because they didn’t have a vegetarian sauce but I checked before I went that they offered a vegetarian sauce now. After eating here I don’t think that sauce was really vegetarian unfortunately I was up all night sick. if your not a vegetarian then I whole heartily give it 5 starts. It was such a great experience I’m so sad that we won’t be going back.
Service was outstanding. Had left overs from their half size of spaghetti and meat sauce! It was sooo good. I highly recommend. Prices are reasonable. Great date night place to go!!
We usually love the Rancho location but have never taken a group more than 6. We had a group of 16 for my lil sisters b day and the accommodation were not up to how we have treated at the Ontario location. Room in back is too small, waitress cannot accommodate your whole party. Always having to pass things down to each other. Never asked for refills. Spaghetti was cold. Wrong bread served. Really noisy with 3 or 4 different parties in that little room. The Ontario location is better suited for larger groups. More friendly staff. We were first on list for large parties and by passed because we were never asked if we were all there until I asked how come we hadn't been seated yet. Do not get me wrong food is great but the Rancho location needs to step up their service to larger parties.
Stopped in again...have been going there since I was a child. Everything still tastes the same, in a good way. Starting with the soup and salad (you get both with the dinners). Enjoy the red wine vinegar in the house dressing and a nice, small cup of soup. With the spaghetti, choose the half order unless you are starving. I was quite hungry this trip and only finished 2/3 of the smaller size. Pick either the garlic or cheese bread, soft, warm and amazing flavor. You can also pick one of each. The beef dip is a great choice if not in the mood for pasta. It is very simple yet need nothing else. (You can order it on the garlic or cheese bread.)
We first came across Vince's a year ago searching for restaurants near our hotel in Ontario. We were visiting again from Australia and brought our adult kids with us this time. We couldn't resist bringing the kids and they really enjoyed their meal. We ended up sharing two full serves - one with meat sauce and meatballs and the other with the marinara sauce and meatballs. The wait staff were very accommodating with our requests and everyone enjoyed their meals. We thought that it was well priced and will definitely visit again when we're back in the area.
