Islamorada Fish Company

This place was so cool located inside of the Bass Pro Shop with all of the fish hanging everywhere from the ceiling it was quite an experience. I tried gator for my first time here as the appetizer and it was absolutely delicious I will definitely be eating gator in the future if it tastes like this! The before the meal bread is coated in sugar and was almost like a donut but a little more hearty. The salad was fresh and delicious. The catfish was okay. I just really wish the waders didn't have a computer right behind our heads because we heard a lot of tapping while we were eating they could add a little divider to give the patrons a little privacy guard while they eat instead of a server typing in an order right behind your head. ????

This was our first visit here. Beautiful restaurant and excellent food. Ample waiting area available as you wait for a table. We found the food to be excellent and the server was very friendly. Will return.

I had the BBQ brisket mac n cheese. It was pretty good. The brisket was cooked perfectly although i do feel the cheese in the pasta was a little overcooked. My wife had a burger with blue cheese and it was perfect. Nice bun and grilled onions topped it off.

I got the fish tacos, which were excellent. It would have been nice to have salsa or something for the chips though. We also got two.orders of fish and chips, one fish was bad on each plate, the server gave us replaces. I don't recommend that plate. The complimentary bread comes with sugar on top and salted butter, which makes for a great combination. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the large fireplace in the center of the room. Handicapped access was not a problem at all.

This place is always Amazing. If you have the time go see for yourself. The atmosphere is nice and the beautiful fish tank. The food is delicious and they have great service, even when they are really busy. You will love the appetizers.
