Dhat Island Caribbean Creole

A great dinner. I had the shrimp gumbo and really enjoyed it, one of the best I have had. On top of that the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be adding this to my regular dinning list on visits to Redlands.

Great local type shop. Lots of love and soul in both the food and the staff. You can feel the pride that everyone takes in being able to serve food to their community. I don't live in the area but I wouldn't hesitate for one second to come back and try more of their food.

This restaurant was nice. A calm atmosphere and decor. I had the fried chicken and waffles, it was delicious. Also had smothered potatoes which were good too. The only complaint i have is that if you sit near the plant, you may be subjected to a few gnats and one flew in my wife's food. But i would still come back here. The mimosas were very good too, i would suggest the guava or mango.

Place was clean and nice with bright colors inside. We were greeted right away and seated by the window. We ordered the gumbo and oxtail stew. Both were really good and tasty. The rice beans are good. The oxtail meal came with bananas. I ordered one of each (savory, sweet, and green) they we're all good and went well with my meal. We also tried the hot cocoa and it was good. Hot cocoa was a little too sweet for me but it was good and tasty as well. We also ordered the meat patties for appetizer and they were delicious. Customer service is great. They weren't too busy when we went. Great food, customer service, and serving size is good for sharing too. I definitely recommend this place!
