About what you'd expect. Pretty basic food. We had chicken tacos, asada tacos, a bean and cheese burrito, and asada fries. Everything was pretty plain but decent. It kind of felt like they just ran to the grocery store and then put a menu together. Not bad, but definitely not somewhere I'm super anxious to go back to. Maybe there's a specialty we didn't know about. I don't know. Overall-- just ok.
Love the food! I've enjoyed Taco Tia since the late 70s early 80s when burritos were only .79 cents. For me, their hot sauce is "The Bomb", never eat hot sauce otherwise. In my experience, they tend to be slow and laid back when taking, making, & delivering your order. Not the place to go when you're in a hurry, but the food is worth the wait. If your not in a hurry, drive thru, but I recommend dinning inside where they provide you with hot sauce bottles at no extra charge.
Great tacos and other Mexican food. Fast, friendly staff. E Z access & parking.
Pros: delicious original recipes kept faithfully since I have been eating there for over 30 years! Taco burger is savory and tart, bean and cheese burrito is rich and tasty, the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever eaten! Large mixed kitchen menu from grilled sourdough burger to nachos. Cons: recently increased prices, sometimes very slow service, location remains slightly shady.
