Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

The wait staff is great. I had the two meat combo, ribs and Texas brisket. They were good. I get the feeling that Famous Dave's is tired. They need a menu review along with a new approach to preparing the food. One gets the feeling that the barbecue is not done on site. The stock is cheap and from my experience it is destined to stay that way. I want it to be a success, but someone needs to make some changes.

I really had high hopes for this place, from the moment we were greeted the hostess had this "whatever " attitude. The waiting time to get the table was expected (average 15 min), however, they took over an hour to actually served our food from the moment we ordered it. But honestly the reason this place gets a 1 star is because the food was not worth the wait, the brisket was too dry, potatoe wages were burn, the barbecue chicken tasted like plastic. Perhaps it was the way they treated us what made me sort of loose my appetite but I for sure won't be willing to find out any time at all.

So one of the managers called me to follow up on the inconvenience of my visit. After he explained and apologized for everything I understood that a lot of what happened was out of his hands, and I wasn't the only customer with some issues, also he offered a discount for next time we go and eat there. Now I can say this; I truly appreciate excellent customer service, one of the main reasons for me to give a good review, that being said I will bump up my stars to 3. Hoping next time I go to Famous Dave's my expectations will be met to the high standards as the people who recommend me this restaurant.

Service was very slow and then my order was wrong. The place wasn't very busy but, the waitress took forever to come to our table. When she finally came, she tried to go so quick she didn't listen to what I was saying, rushed from the table and wow surprise! My order was wrong. Rather than wait another 30min for them to redo it (we'd already been there almost an hour) I just accepted the order. I gave them 3 instead of 1 or 2 because it was clean, the food was good, and they attempted to right their wrong.

5 star quality of food. Waitstaff always ready to help. Glass of beer quite pricey outside of happy hour.

Great fresh food. We did a take out for Super bowl Sunday.
Sat at the bar, ordered 2 servings of BBQ chips, $2.00 ea, delicious.
Nice service too.
