The best German food for miles! Good service and home made sausage of all types in addition to traditional German dishes. Great dark beer on tap ..Kostrizer I believe. A real authentic German treat! Btw... the German potato salad is the best!!!

Had pork chops, potato celery soup, and beer (forgot name). Loved all of it. I've always had a fantastic meal with great company (shared table). Shared table with a German gentleman and he gave his approval of Suppenkuche.

Dear owner. I love your restaurant. The decor, the feeling of "another era", and of course the food. I am 68 years old and 4th generation of restaurant management in my family. Your food was A-1! However, why on Earth did you have just one girl to wait on all customers and the deli and the little store. This was on a Thursday around Noon. She was a trooper, but I felt terribly sorry for her. I read all your reviews and was sorry to find another that had a similar experience. The waitress was so hard pressed it was very hard for her to be nice to her customers...Too bad, as I was "shopping" for new places to go and was ready to make this a weekly thing for me. I am not sure now. I was so happy with the food and the place in general and the girls attempt to hold it together, I was going to give her a $10 tip extra over and above the bill and regular tip...She was so hard pressed in the end to be nice that it came up too short and I did not feel generous and did not give her my extra appreciation...Please take care of this wonderful place. I want to share it with all my friends!

Gazzolo's is an absolute gem! The food is always excellent...no matter what I or my family and friends order. There is a very nice selection of beer too. When you add in the cozy European decor and the consistently wonderful service, this is a 5 star restaurant in my opinion.

Enjoyed this very much. Food was wonderful. Red cabbage was outstanding. Prices reasonable. Service was a little slow, but perhaps because it was a holiday and one one waitress on duty. She was very efficient and friendly. I will go there again.
