Mitla Cafe

For me this is the best Mexican food you can get at a restaurant. The rice and beans are perfect. All the food it good. I have never had a bad meal there. The service is good. It's clean. I know for a fact that everything is made from scratch in this restaurant. Tortillas, chips, salsas, they grind their own meat. Many of the employees work there for decades. This is my favorite spot when I go back to visit San Bernardino. This is a true cafe, a true gem.

The food is great and always cooked fresh. The server name eli was polite and fast. Had a family reunion here.

Always amazing food here! Don't be fooled by the plain exterior, it is updated and up kept inside. The food has been amazing since I was a child. Not a thing on the menu I don't enjoy. Today was the Huevos Rancheros in the picture that is a half order! Go there and be prepared to wait but I promise it is worth it.

Good, fresh home-made Mexican... just slow service (typically busy when I go in, just not so efficient - friendly but at an easy-going pace...just don't be in a hurry when going). Fresh corn tortillas are awesome????????
