Excellent take on regular Mexican food. Same names, but NOT, the same plain old thing again. Great taste, large portions. 2 dessert options that are delicious.
A must try, you'll love it.
Had the green enchiladas and potato tacos. The salsas were very good not too spicy and very authentic. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was vibrant. This is definitely somewhere I would return.
Went to this place on Mother's Day. We were there right at opening, so we did not have a wait. The place on the inside looked amazing! I absolutely loved the art everywhere. The bruch prices are amazing! I wish they had mimosas included in the bruch but you can always add that on. The food was really good. The chips and salsa were definitely fresh.
A group of 10 of us decided to try a place none of us have been to. Kalaveras is very bright and festive. The staff is friendly and did a great job waiting on us. The music inside got a bit loud at times during birthday celebrations and other types of celebrations. For drinks, we had several of their top drinks, and all were very good. I saw a flight of margaritas at another table that we will have to try next time. The food was amazing. Their salsa was delicious, and they had habanero salsa that was very good. The Loma Saltado was fantastic. The Birria tacos had zero complaints and were ordered by multiple people. The pasta a la Diabla was excellent. Others in the group ordered different individual tacos as their meal and enjoyed each of them. Overall, there were no complaints about the food, and everyone was full at the end of their meal. If you haven't been, I recommend giving Kalaveras a try. We ate at the San Bernardino location. We will be back.
5 stars for this review! The food was so tasty! We had the Birrea Tacos with Consume. We walked in during happy hours, and our drinks were discounted. I had my usual Modelo, and the wife had a horchata cocktail. Yes, the flower is real in her drink. The atmosphere was fun, a bit loud, though. We were able to see a birthday celebration while there, fun fun. The cost for all was about 30.00 per person. You have to try it.
