(April 30, 2019, 4:26 am)I have been visiting Shawna and Brian's place for years and every visit is the same: Fantastic. It's a classic 1940's Route 66 diner still going strong today with that old style quality of grill food. If your looking for the surf-n-turf with a bottle of wine, keep looking as this is not that place. I love a good 'greasy spoon' for breakfast and lunch and this is a classic place to fill that desire. The portions are big and made right in front of you (no, not hibachi style, it's a cafe). The food is that wonderful 'just they way grandma made it' meal that always fills you up. If you like biscuits and gravy, go early because they will run out of gravy. Also, there are not a lot of tables but the wait is typically short (15min or less) and they are worth the wait. Try the trucker lunch, it's my favorite.

(February 2, 2019, 10:35 pm)The food is amazing, the atmosphere is so cozy, reminds you of grandmother's kitchen. The pancakes are huge and coffee is dark and full flavor. They accept credit cards for payment. The parking is tight but the food is worth it. Bring your friends and enjoy a great breakfast. Perfect for hangovers. Try the steak and eggs.
