Best food ever!! Great staff, we got some great homemade cornbread before the meal, and a piece of pie for dessert. Nice and peaceful.

Excellent potato cheese soup and half meat loaf sandwich with whole french apple pie to go. Always a good experience. Ate in the bar with great service.

Feels like an old timer's place. My family walked in and we waited a while for someone to seat us even though the place was empty. The waitresses were all talking behind the counter and we just let them have their meeting until their manager told them to seat us. We were not offered silverware yet every other table had them already on there. We had to get them ourselves.we had the $6.99 breakfast, it was good. The no smoking signs are totally outdated, no need for those signs in today's times.

Usually I would give a 5 star rating, but on this day I ordered a spicy chicken dinner. It wasn't spicy. It was cold and the chicken was over cooked and dry. The vegetables were too raw for my taste. My friend got the wrong salad. They brought her the correct one. Instead the one that she didn't want. The service was great, as usual, but something was going on in the kitchen that day. Then I had 2 pies to go. Lemon cream and rhubarb. The one was lemon cream, but the other was apple, not rhubarb, my favorite. I didn't want to go back, so I'm eating the apple pie. It is good, of course, but I had my heart set on rhubarb...
