My family started going to The Golden Gate in 1991 after moving to the High Desert. It is the very best Chinese Restaurant I've ever eaten at! My Daughter and I are allergic to some foods and they have always been great at leaving out what we can't have!
I want food from there for my birthday. I'm Disabled and can't go to their Wonderful Restaurant anymore so my Daughter is going to take a bus and go get my Birthday Dinner! It's been a while since I have had food from there so I called and asked if they could mail me a menu. The Wonderful Lady I was speaking to asked if she could text the menu to me. I was so Excited! It came as soon as she hung up! Thank You So Very Much Golden Gate! Your Food Rocks! Your People Rock!

Service is great food is freshly made their drinks are strong. Service is courteous and they even box your food been going there for over 10 years

It's good, nothing I've tried has been bad. Wanting soup is really good but don't add soy sauce, it doesn't need it. You can ask for plain chow mien with no vegetables if you have little ones and it's still very good. Better than 4 ???? but not a 5 cause I haven't tried everything yet.

The service is good and the food is usually very good. I ordered twice cooked pork. It was very hard and chewy. When I told the server, she said she guessed I'll know not to order that again. So I ate the rest of the food on the plate and took the pork home
I'll wash it off and give it to my dogs. They won't mind if it's chewy! I was a waitress for many years. We always tried to make it right for the customer. I was very disappointed this time, but the food usually is very good.
