We shared a plate of Pot roast, mashed potatoes, cornbread, and navy bean soup. It was a perfect old style meal. The soup was nice and hot, the pot roast was tender, with carrots, onions, and gravy, the mashed potatoes were good, and the cornbread was hot, moist, and delicious. The service was fast considering how crowded they were. It's definitely a nice restaurant for a good meal at a reasonable price.
The food and service was amazing. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I left with wondering when I can come back again. I mean, the service..... I wish most places had upbeat friendly staff like this place. Makes you want to come back.
Food was delicious. The theme of the rooms, their gift shop is exactly what I love about diners. This will now be a must stop on my way to Las Vegas from L.A
This was an awesome experience.
The place is 50s themed as described in their name. The staff wore 50s attire as well. The place is pretty big and had multiple sections. The staff was really sweet and quick.
They do not take reservations so that people can drop in anytime.
The food was delicious, but not expensive. I'd definitely go there again.
There is a gift shop near the entrance. I bought a gift there as well.
Very very good food at a very reasonable price. Proportions are large but not overwhelming. Fast service, well attentive and friendly. Lots of classic eye candy and a very unique novelty store which also stocks a huge assortment of Thrifty Ice Cream. A travelers must. Easy 5 stars.
Definitely a neat place to check out! This was our first time here and we were not disappointed. The gift shop is a must-see! My only complaint is the host, La Dona, was very unpleasant. Not very friendly at all. I do not think she was very LGBT+ friendly or maybe it was just her attitude in general. My favorite thing was definitely the food. Everything we ordered was tasteful and delicious. 9/10 would recommend
