“Took my hubby here for a nice date night and wasn't disappointed! From the hostess to the waitress to the people who were helping with drinks and food running, everyone was friendly and on top of things. The food was Delicious! He got steak and I got the HR Smokehouse burger and man was everything tasty. We ended with the funnel fries sundae, and while the actual funnel cake pieces tasted a bit stale the rest was soooo good. You have to stop in and try this place , the meat quality alone is worth the stop.”

“We really have a fantastic time when we go here. I have been here probably close to a dozen times on field trips with my kids and it never disappoints for the fun and education. The food is good here as well but nothing to freak out about. The pies however, are amazing. The apple pie is deliscious but the 5 pound apple pie is just honestly too much apple and not enough crust so go with the regular. We have participated in the revolutionary war tour, the gold rush, and the civil war and they are all outstanding. I would live to go here in the summer to pick berries as I have been told it is great. Definitely on the to do list. I know we will be up here again. Have a great time!”

“Is so beautiful up here. The food is delicious and service is quite friendly. On a sunny day it's nice to sit out on the patio with a wood deck. There are some cute shops around, craft and food stands, and activities for kids. I suppose that is Oak Glen in general and not limited to Apple Annie's but you'll want to stop in here for some delicious treats while you're walking around. You will be most pleased!”

“2 words.. Highlander Grog Best local coffee shop in town. Show up early to hear the local news from the regulars who sit outside. They have a good selection of coffee flavors, their Kona and French roast are good, but their best is Highlander Grog. Be sure to grab a fresh muffin, or breakfast sandwich. If it's a beautiful day there's a nice sized patio in the back to enjoy your coffee and to either sit in the quiet and study, or to catch up with friends.”
