Sonic Drive-In

Sonic is not someplace I go frequently but occasionally I like to get one of their drinks.... Usually when I'm traveling. It's usually a quick stop and super friendly service. While they are friendly at this one, the stop was not quick. We usually park in one of the parking spots and order but we could not get service there so we went to the drive through. Maybe they were having an off day but with the few people that were there at the time, it took a while to get our order. The cups also came out a little sticky. If stop here again though in hope that they were just having a bad day.

I come to this Sonic every single time I visit Joshua Tree National Park with my family & I’m always extremely satisfied with the customer service but the food can be hit or miss. I always go through the drive through and the ladies that take our order are always so sweet! The last time we were here we ordered one Oreo a la mode and they actually gave us two!

This time we tried the Snickers Bar Shake and the Strawberry Cheesecake Shake. The strawberry shake had a kind of melted consistency. The Snickers Shake was thicker, but there’s only Snickers sprinkled on top. No Snickers mixed into the vanilla ice cream :/ but I’ll eat them anyway haha!

Food's taste is irrelevant when writing this review. We asked for sugar like 5 times and each time we only got like 3 packages of sugar and we had order 3 large coffees. Also, I asked for a couple of waters and never got them until after I asked again because we were done eating. Also, kids burger was a special order and it wasn't made to order. In addition to all that, it's not particularly cheap and the wind that day made for a bay experience (one of those things unique to Sonic since there's rarely any indoor dining
