Carla's Route 62 Diner

Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere and the people were great! We are so happy we found it on our drive to the Joshua Tree National Park. This is a must stop for anyone. I ordered the '57 Chevy Bel-Air burger and it was phenomenal! My husband got the Route 62 burger and loved it as well! Nothing but positive things to say!

Literally the cleanest diner I've ever stepped foot in. Super good vibe and friendly staff. Huge portions and really fresh ingredients. I had a veggie omelet with hash browns and my friend had eggs with home fries. Cooked to perfection and I'll repeat, really fresh ingredients.
I wish their coffee was a little stronger. Or maybe if they had a dark roast option.

Nothing special but you can always get in and out. Full American fare and some Mexican. Taco salad good. Plenty of all the usual ingredients. Fish and chips good too. Ice tea fresh . Staff nice. Cute 60s deco.

Clean, cute retro diner decor with movie posters. Long old-fashioned counter with stools. Nice selection of breakfast, sandwich, and dessert choices. Food arrived hot and as ordered. Chicken fried steak was great and so was breakfast burrito. Average prices for the area restaurants. They could us some soft retro background music.

Simply one of the finest gems around the Morongo basin. Great diner food to the core. The service hands down is the best in town. The prices you can't beat, especially when it comes to the specials. Right off the highway and in part of old town makes it even better, the atmosphere gives you that 50's diner feel. Once I dined here, I've came back weekly, that how good the food is!!!
