Marieta's Restaurant

I have to say, this place is pretty good. Service was excellent, food about 4.5.....plates should be heated. The beans were really hot, other food warm to hot. Probably should have mentioned it.

Flavor was really good, portion we're good for the price. Hot sauce with the chips was a bit on the hot side, but good. Will have to see if they have something less intense (I'm a light weight)

Full menu, just about anything you might want, but also nothing special.....meaning, I think to step up thier game they could have a daily special that is not on the menu.....and not like the other items on the menu or what you see in town.

Service never faltered. Not just the main waiter, but all the staff seemed to want you to be happy with your meal.....maybe...just a tad..too much for the size of the place. Yes I'm being a bit picky, but hey, I think if they keep this up.....maybe we can close down several Mexican places in town.

This in for the 2019 opening of the restaurant, They should get a new website up I would think? This Site is the old site of the ALpine INN Location. I will be trying it in the next few days with my wife as it seems they have taken pride in the remodeling. This company has tried to establish itself in our town before. The Ocean beach restaurant has fairly good reviews. The Sign for the establishment here in alpine indicates fine dining mexican food, Once I see that I am not looking for Burritos, but quality fresh fish and meats that are above the cut. I will be judging on the fine dining side, I don't want to see photos of tacos and salsa on a menu. I can goto taco bell for that food. You say Fine Mexican Dining? I know what that is we will see you soon for now a 5 star. I hope the sewage smell has been taken care of.... that would be 4 stars off. :)
