Phenomenal food, excellent service! All that you could ask for from an Italian seafood restaurant. Definitely coming back.
Great menu, lots to different Italian dishes to choose from, delicious bread with italian dipping sauce is brought out to munch on while you wait for your food. Nice inside/outside seating available, large wine selection. Great spot off the main road along the beach. Random parking lots (we found a free one right across the street from he restaurant) nearby and street parking around as well. Just a couple blocks from the beach area with lots of other shops and restaurants around as well.
It's a smallish place and too cold to sit outside so we started out evening at the bar. The drinks were good and the bar staff were attentive and helpful. Our waitress was great too - she accommodated a special request from one of my friends, was friendly and made us feel like no request was unwelcome. The food was really good too. We'll definitely go back.
I was exploring Carlsbad Village during my birthday visit and stumbled across Cicciotti's. I had not read any prior reviews so I had no idea what I was in for. I was greeted and seated immediately as it was relatively early in the evening. The atmosphere was cozy and I was quite comfortable. I ordered one of the pasta/seafood specials and a glass of wine. The dish included shrimp, scallops the size of golf balls and a large lobster tail. It was absolutely delicious. Most places fill the plate with pasta and are stingy with the seafood -- that was NOT the case here. I loved my meal. Admittedly, it was a bit pricey but it was my birthday and I felt I should splurge.
