Had a great time here with my parents last month. Excellent food and service. Can't remember the name of their spicy margarita but it was great!

Nice service...a couple little blips, server mis-ordered an item & also forgot an ingredient in my beverage, but fixed all promptly! Love the vibe whether busy or quiet. The fish is always excellent and the side dishes done very well. Appetizers are okay with a bit of an uninspired selection. Ordered the hot artichoke and crab dip: Ingredients were a bit too blended/small pieces yielding a bit of a gloppy texture and seasoning was not to my liking.

I have eaten here a few times when visiting Carlsbad for business. This time was good as usual. It was busy but we didn't have too long to wait for a table to be ready. The food was well prepared, tasty and served with a smile. Very convenient with parking right outside.

This is the best seafood restaurant, great fresh seafood. The menu is great.
    Different food for different tastes.
I love oysters and definitely this is the right restaurant for all oysters, fresh half shell,
    Rockefeller, shooters etc.etc.
    and the drinks and awesome.

Stopped in to try out the happy hour specials. We were seated in the bar area, which had booths and tables in addition to the bar. The happy hour menu was affordable and had a lot of choices ranging from 4$-8$. We had the fish tacos, Cajun fish bites and the new England chowder fries with cheddar and bacon. Cajun fish bites didn't have a lot of "Cajun" flavor. And the chowder fries didn't have have a lot of chowder, mainly bacon & cheese, regardless everything tasted good. Would definitely come back to try out some other menu items.
