LEGOLAND Castle Hotel

Stayed in a deluxe knight and dragon room. Son loved the bunk bed, and the daily loot drop in the safe. Make sure to start the puzzle hunt when you are in the lobby. Pool area is very nice, and there is outdoor entertainment in the evening. Totally aimed at children, as opposed to the Disney resort which is more aimed at the whole family.

My kid loved it. Loads to do just in the hotel alone. Play area in the courtyard, pool and hot tub, restaurant (limited menu, reservations currently required, but also has a play area), rooms are spacious, clean, well maintained. The one star I took off is for the music that plays until 10 PM outside. It’s quite loud & makes it hard to fall asleep if your room faces the courtyard.

I couldn't make the reservation. I tried multiple times because I thought it was my credit card, my internet browser, only 1 room left of I was trying to make same day reservation. But after I tried all different things I decided to call. They told me I got blocked at the first time because my email looks like an automatically generated one. And also because of my multiple attempt, the system blocked my name/address for three days. And they don't have the right to remove the block even I spoke to them to prove that I am a real person. Isn't that ridiculous? I have used that email address for more than 10yrs on different online booking/purchasing and I have never got a problem. Even if they believe the email address needs attention, whey didn't they asked me to confirm the email address before they declining? If I can give a zero star I would. They should make the system user friendly for real customers or at least they should have the representative to solve the problem.

I modified my star to 3. After I complained, they booked the room for me. The room was clean and fun. The breakfast was good. But you need to make reservation ahead of time, which they didn't tell me.

What a great time and we had the best room. The kids loved the little scavenger hunt. Totally worth it because after walking all day it was nice to be able to go straight to our room. The pool is a little small we didn't even go in because kids were everywhere. It was nice they showed the LEGO movies with a viewing area. We had a great time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Check in was a bit awkward. It was all automated and we had to go through a kiosk. Would have been nice to have both options for those that may not understand how electronics work. Would have made the park feel more personable, especially when all staff was wearing masks. We reserved the Knights and Dragons room. The kids bedroom, more like a bunk room, was nice and dark thanks to the big curtain. What made it extra special was the starry night sky that was projected onto the ceiling. Was nice to be able to put our kids to bed and be able to have quiet time at the end of the night without worry or keeping kids awake. The new treasure each morning was fun to open and work on before the park opened up. Refreshments of bottled water and juices were made available to us each day. Housekeeping had options to just lightly tidy or fully tidy or don't even bother.

Dragons Den breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations. They had allergen information available and we're able to make certain things upon request. Lots of options imaginable. Although the silverware that was made available was flimsy plastic. Would have been nice to have actual silverware.
