Pitfire Pizza

I was surprised at how much variety was on the menu, definitely not just a pizza place. The food was really good, high quality ingredients, and generous portions. I especially liked the Margherita pizza, cheesy knots, and cavatappi alla vodka. Outstanding customer service and a really fun vibe. So impressive that I went back three times the first week they opened, and still craving more.

Try the Vegetarian bean soup and the chicken meatballs leveled up, MY GOD SOOOO GOOOOOD!
We sat at the bar and all the dudes working the bar are attentive and ON POINT.
My new favorite pizza place in San Diego County.
We will be back quite a few times a month now cuz we don't cook.

From LA to San Diego, Pitfire brings new competition to the San Diego pizza scene. For those looking for something a little different from San Diego heavy hitters like Pizza Port and something more cocktail/wine based, this would be the spot. We ordered a dressed avocado, honey bear pizza, say cheese pizza, and an I'm your huckleberry slushie. Portions were on par with nearby pizza places for the price. The honey bear had the perfect blend of sweet and spicy to it, and the say cheese had a great blend of cheeses. Crust on both were cooked to perfection and not dripping in grease. We'll see how the competition in the area reacts, but this one should have no problem staying in the mix.

Went to their soft launch and had a great time. The pizza was great (got the one with ricotta, peppers and honey) and the cheese knots were a hit. Friendly staff (especially the host) and very fun ambiance. Excited to go back when they’re fully up and running

Absolutely fantastic pizza, salads and pasta, all made with fresh ingredients and lots of love. We moved from LA to San Diego and Pitfire was one of the places we missed most. Welcome to San Diego, we are so excited you are here!!!
