Order family style. Carnitas by the pound. I swear they round up. Quite tasty.

This place is not only delicious, BUT the staff is super nice and treat you like you’re the only customer there! I love that as they prepare your order to go, they always give you a little something to snack on. On a Friday I got there close to 645 and they were so gracious to get me an order of carnitas even though they’re closing time is 630! Definitely a great place!

Have always ordered to go from this secluded spot. Multiple times, for special events, guests always inquire, "Where did you get the carnitas at!" The owner is super cool too.

I first found this tiny hole in the wall place one early morning while buying parts for my car. A new place to eat Mexican food early on the morning, right? I was very wrong to put this little hole in the wall into the same category as Roberto's, and other taco shops that line the streets of Chula Vista and the rest of So Cal. This being my first time ordering anything from his place, I decide to go with their namesake, Carnitas. The gentleman who took my order was very kind and then gave me a free soft Carnitas ???? while I was waiting for my order. I have received a free Carnitas soft ???? every time I visit this place! I been there over two dozen times. You think he does not remember me? Who gives you free tacos all the time and a matter of fact who gives you free anything these days? If your in the mood for excellent carnitas and your in CV don't think about where to go because Carnitas Las Michocan is one of the best! I highly recommend this place and I don't lie about food
