Amazing menu and service. You can taste the authenticity! You would think something as simple as tortilla soup couldn't blow you away but it's a bowl of comfort!

One of the best barbacoa you can get in San Diego. Not many places even try cooking it, but this guys tried and must say they have mastered it. Trust me on this one.

The lamb they serve here is great. The meat is cooked well. The lamb soup with garbanzos and rice is mmm good. If you're daring I recommend the brain tacos. Yup that's right brains! All in all it's worth going, you won't be disappointed

Had a nice lunch there today with a couple staff members. I was a little sad to try lamb, poor little lamb, but thought, ok, let's do this. We shared a couple servings of the shredded meat, and we all got some soup. While the shredded lamb was fine, I'd have to say , the soup was very tasty! If I return, I will definitely get the soup again.

The first time that I went to this place it was really good we got sat near the back and they also had summer cilantro, which was a nice surprise for me because I love it. The second time I went though we got sat near the entrance and for about 15 to 20 minutes there were people right in front of our table with their backsides towards us which was really off-putting. After a while the waitress told them to move out but it had been a bit too long. The food is good but it just was not as good as the first time oh, that's why I'm giving it three stars this time.
