This would be a 2.5 star if I could do it. There is s Bento & Noodles down the road not to far away that is hands down better all around. The service was lacking, the restaurant needed to be cleaned and everything seemed old as if it was sitting all day. I will not be coming back, but I am happy that I have tried it. There is plenty of parking and seating here which is a plus.
The location of the other restaurant is:
2275 Otay Lakes Rd #118 Chula Vista, California
I can't wait to go back. The salt and pepper wings were amazing. I would say they are just as good as the ones from Royal Mandarin in National City. So crunchy and juicy. Also had an order of noodles with shrimp, chicken and vegetables that was okay. The plates were generously loaded and the service was great.
I have had on multiple occasions enjoyed a carryout order of egg drop soup, I'd give it 5 Stars one of the best of the soup I've ever had. I dined in for the first time last week, I did not enjoy it. The soup tasted different. My companion did not enjoy their meal and quite frankly I tasted and I didn't like it either. I'd have to give that dining experience for the food two-star, although the service was really nice.
We come here quite often. It's great because if you want Japanese and someone else wants Chinese you can eat all together. They have so many options to pick from. Service is great too!
