IHOP

Food was good, decent portions not great. Wait for seating was a bit long for middle of the week time and restaurant not crowded. Excellent and fast service. Reasonable prices. Plenty of parking. Would consider returning.

IHOP is obviously a chain restaurant, so they tend to all be the same, but the Otay Lakes Rd. Location at Eastlake had a quality above many of the others I have dined at. The flavor was excellent and the portions were very large. The waitress was fast and friendly. I'll definitely go back my next trip to Chula Vista!

Pancakes are so delectable. They almost melt in your mouth. The Madagascar Vanilla pancakes are the BEST! Service is always really good there too.

IHOP is a nice location. The staff is why I'm giving you at such a high rating. Now full disclosure I am not a breakfast person only reason I came here was because it was my wife's birthday and she loves breakfast food.Also because I like to save some money and I saw a commercial for for $4.99 or free with a breakfast order. I just wanted to have breakfast and so did the wife and her little girl 2 year old. The food was good not bad at all cooked properly as I requested them. My biggest complaint about the food however was the pancakes, now I know it was an all you can eat pancakes, but at least finish cooking them... By that I mean that they were a little undercooked. the cool thing is that at the table they have four different types of syrup. Basically I did not love this place but it is not bad, you should give it a chance make up your own decision. Oh I did forget to mention they do have an outdoor seating area as well. no one was using that when I was there I think it may have been that it was kind of cold outside.

The food is really good at IHOP! Staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone. Great place to take your family.

Sometimes the restaurant gets a little warm inside from all the cooking in the kitchen. Ask them to turn on the air condition. IHOP offers patio dining.
