Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

There was an odd promotion on the night we were there where if you order certain dishes, you get a choice of dishes to take away with you. The portions here are huge so it seemed strange they'd give you another but hey, it was good food and plenty of it. I gave the free second dish to a homeless guy near our hotel so it definitely served a very useful purpose and in that regard I commend them for the promotion. I had a shrimp alfredo (or similar, I can't exactly remember the name if I'm honest!) that was very tasty indeed and I regretted having an appetiser as the dinner was very filling. Good banter with our server, good suggestions from her too. Good place in a good location.

Food and service is good. I wish they would bring back some of their dishes. It seems like the menu options are limited these days

The wait can be very long up to hour. I recommend calling ahead to get on their waiting list.

The Olive Garden is one of Chula Vista's classy restaurants in the Neighborhood. It is a cut above many places in food Quality and there is The endless pasta bowl specials every once in awhile that make the Olive Garden worth every Penny. The service is always fast and efficient, they have those flashing hockey pucks to let you know that you're table is ready. Cool Stuff. This Olive Garden is just a couple blocks from the 5 freeway and is at the edge of the Chula Vista Shopping Center Parking lot. The Holiday Inn and other Hotels are pretty close as well. I recommend this Olive Garden for the entire Family.

Food was good. Our waitress was polite and had a good attitude. The wait time was the only issue. But I guess it's common, it turns out I wasn't the only one with a birthday that weekend ????.

Celebrated a friend's birthday here. We were a huge group, and the staff was very friendly and patient. Food was good, however pricey for just pasta. I wouldn't come here again without a coupon, gift card or better promotions. They also make you ask for straws, which I view as a huge plus.
