Black Angus Steakhouse

Great service. Ate in the bar because the wait for the restaurant was long, waitress was awesome! Food was great, we had 3 rib eyes, and a tri-tip. All perfectly cooked but 1 was medium instead of medium rare.

This location is on E Street close to the 5 freeway. If you are budget conscious, check prices before you plan your trip to this restaurant. This was my first time going to Black Angus. I always saw the place from outside as not having many cars in the parking lot. The inside is very spacious. The decor is western, of course going with the name. The interior is beautiful wood, lots of it. The seating is comfortable and semiprivate. Very nice. The wait staff were pleasant and helpful. They will explain to you the different cuts of steak, which ones are juicier than others, etc. Cloth napkins. Complimentary bread and butter while you decide what to order. We didn't go to that side, but there is a happy hour we were informed of. The food was very good and presented nicely. They also offer desserts, coffee, wine, and more. The salad side order tasted great.

I have eaten at this chain Steakhouse at different locations around Southern California. I always find the food to be very good, reasonably priced, with good service and a warm atmosphere. The Molasses bread and butter they bring before the meal is warm and tasty. I'm a particular fan of wedge salads and they have a good one. And the steaks are consistently good.

Very happy I went in person to make my conclusion about this location. I had previously ordered February 1 through grub hub. I received all the food cold and dry . But my experience was much different dining in. The food came out nice and hot my steak was juicy and cooked just perfect. And my server although not as attentive as I’d liked was still very helpful when present. I will definitely be returning.

The campfire special is awesome deal. You better be hungry though. They have good happy hour specials. I don't think they get patronage they deserve due to the part of town they are located. The food is good, servers are attentive and you can always be seated right away. There are always coupons in the newspaper and mailers so there is always additional savings to be had.
