Hip and inviting. Great coffee shop that works just as well as a hang out, as a place to read a book, or to write on your laptop. If sitting outside, you can also enjoy people watching (outside tables face Third Avenue in downtown Chula Vista). They have the usual fare of caffeinated drinks; interestingly, they also have alcoholic beverages.
We hung out for a couple of hours and never felt rushed by staff. Although it was my first visit, it has already become my new favorite coffee shop in Chula Vista.
There's metered parking nearby, which only accepts coins (no cards) or, if you don't mind walking two small blocks down Davidson St., you can park for free at the nearby park. I'd imagine the metered parking may get tricky when there is an event, for example the car shows, or earlier in the day. We visited in the evening when there was plenty of parking available.
This place is great. Best Mexican Mocha I've had and great atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Good vibes.
Friendly service, good Americano coffee. Atmosphere is a little youthful for this old guy, and beware of the day-old croissants. If its tough to chew just ask them to warm it up. Then you can enjoy, a tasty croissant.
Is that a hint of raspberry in my coffee?
I love this coffee shop. Every time I walk in I'm greeted by a friendly face, great drinks and tasty food. It's been a great meeting spot for me and a friend when I'm in town visiting and we plan our days around going to the coffee shop. They've even been kind and accommodating when our kids make messes or start screaming for no reason. Can't wait to come again.
Supporting our local business. Very nice gem in the heart of Chula Vista. Great coffee, very good Cuban sandwich. As well as tuna melt and grilled cheese. Clean place. They also have some beer options.
