Starbucks is a little known coffee upstart. If this plucky mom and pop raises there prices, adds a few more locations and makes the coffee taste a little stronger they just might make it. Perhaps the greatest contribution is the coffee size classification system they have adopted. Gone are the ham handed small, medium, large designations. I don't know how they got by in the past with such obscure sizes. I mean who the hell knows the difference between small medium and large anyway. I guess you just pick one and hope for the best. Instead, starbucks developed and implemented the intuitively obvious Tall, Grande and Venti size classification system. Now, even a chimpanzee can order a coffee and know, not just intellectually but in their heart, exactly what size coffee they are going to get. They continue to innovate. When you walk in you'll notice they removed most of the menu items from their menu. The lack of information is genius. Check this place out, if you can find one.
