Thai bistro

Im from L.A. where we have over 300 Thai restaurants! I've eaten Thai food for over 35 years. The food is 100% authentic!
Thai Bistro is close to Costco where you can grab an unhealthy hot dog or come by here and eat something delicious AND healthy. My favorite is the chicken panang.
This is my 3rd time here and will make this my regular " Thai pit stop!"

Nice little spot in a small shopping center.

Agreed on the good & bad as another reviewer I just saw.

Good: food tastes great. No flies. Little lunch special is a good amount of food. Basic restroom but it has hooks on the door. The little things make a big difference, you know?! So, yeah, they have a spot to put my purse. 😆🤗

Lunch special today is M-F 11am-3pm in case anyone is wondering, since so many people mention the “lunch special.”

Bad: it’s a hot day and especially after eating hot food, you’d like a cool place. But, there is No AC, just 2 fans. I’m sitting by the front door & im drinking the ice tea for coolness!!
It tastes great though!!

The good: the lunch specials .... hello. Green curry was on point. The egg rolls had more than enough to share. I'm glad that they offer tofu on the lunch special menu.

The bad: no AC and it's a hot summer day.

When I come here I always ask for the green papaya salad (Som Tum) and it never disappoints! I have yet to try a dish that I haven’t liked (I’ve tried quite a few of them). Needless to say, the food is great, the staff are very friendly and service is fast. Beware, if you’re sensitive to spicy food ask for the minimum because it tends to be spicy!

Thai bistro is a small Thai restaurant in Chula Vista. They have a great lunch special $11.99 $12.99 any protein with entree. We ordered Shrimp & Tofu Pad Thai noodles and both were delicious!!! Check this place out.
