The best torta in San Diego county.

The torta rusa was big and tasty. Luv it. Parking was a pain.

Chingonas for sure. I've been routinely disappointed by all the places where I've had a torta ever since I moved to San Diego. I've been here 4 years. I was abandoning all hope but one day I saw their truck and I decided to give it a chance especially because they claim they make them Distrito federal style.
This was the first time I was satisfied with a torta here.

1- Bolillos: I distinctively recognize the especially made torta bolillos, it doesn't break apart and is tastes and feels fresh.

2 - Meats: Fresh meats is huge essential part (I usually get hard, rancid, oversalted, or old) . They do a great job, Their meats are fresh, especially the milanesa.

3- Toppings: Freash avocado, pinapple, or whatever it is, it's definitely good. Good toppings with every type.

4- Size: These tortas are huge! And I eat a lot.

5: Price: So the price is a bit high but definitely worth it. After all, this is Southern California.

6- Staff: Very friendly and they can customize your torta for you.

I highly recommend this place if you craving a good torta and need to fulfill those cravings without being dissappointed.

Seriously the best torta I’ve ever had. I got the La Texana and it was amazing. Will be going back!

My wife and I had known about this tortas place after driving on Broadway and seeing the truck. Our plan to visit was delayed for a while but finally a few days ago we tried the beef milanesa torta for me and the chicken milanesa torta for my wife. These tortas are not only delicious but also huge so much that I couldn't eat it all that day and saved half of it for the next day. Overall review: The food tasted great and fresh. Food quality was top notch. Food cost was excellent as the amount of food you get for what you pay is superb. Food packaging (to go) was also very good. And last the wait time for our food was a little bit high but you can expect this as there was multiple people waiting for their food and as with other food establishments they are probably understaffed. The lady that gave us our food apologized for this but for us the wait time was reasonable. This place is HIGHLY recommended. We will be back soon and bring family members with us to get them to try it.
