El Roy's Tequila Bar + Kitchen

Came and enjoyed this meal on one of my solo adventures. The seared tuna sandwich was fabulous and even the fries were delicious. Food was fresh and the restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. My server Cynthia was very pleasant and attentive. I could not have asked for a better lunch spot.

This was my first time visiting Coronado Island and this Mexican-fusion restaurant hit the spot. The food portions are generous and the service is friendly and prompt. Try to get outside seating on sunny days to gaze at the water and people-watch. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in San Diego.

Food was good nothing special and service was not the greatest. Waiter kept on forgetting to bring things like sugar for the coffee. Once we asked and he complied with the sugar there was no spoon to mix it in the coffee. Wife had to use a fork to mix it in. Every time we needed something we had to wait and wave to the waiter because he would just not come to our table and ask if we needed anything. At the end we wanted the menu to order dessert but the waiter after waiting for a while just came to the table and put the bill there next o me without asking if we needed anything. We didn't order dessert. Definitely El Roy's needs to improve just a bit on food but a lot on service.

Very happy to discover this place. So nice being on the beach, but protected from the wind. Menu is interesting and everything we tried tastes awesome. Very recommend it for a quick, but delicious bite.

This was our first time here- the staff was super friendly. We asked for 2 highchairs, one was missing the clip to buckle our son. I asked for a different one and that one also had a broken buckle piece. I would suggest getting some new high chairs. When we placed our water and one beer order, we got it about 20 minutes later. The food took even longer to arrive. Overall the food was pretty good, good sized portions. Not sure why it took so long for drinks, food, and the check so we were a bit disappointed in the service for that. The views are beautiful and again, the staff was really nice.
