This used to be a great restaurant when Randy Young what's the general manager. He's moved on to Outback Steakhouse and the quality and service in the restaurant has fallen greatly. We haven't gone back since we found that he had left

Great happy hour drinks and snacks. While they are a steak house, it is very casual. Staff as well. Casual about service and timing. Good food for the price point.

Went in for my birthday last night. I had made reservations earlier that day for a table. My mother & I only waited about 2 minutes before we were seated at our table. Wasn't long before our server, Monique, came. She was amazing. Very friendly & attentive. The food was perfection ???????? I ordered the ribeye with a loaded baked potato & my mother got the ribs. The steak was juicy, tender, & well marbled. The ribs were to die for. Fall off the bone with great flavor. I also ordered 2 strawberry lemon drop martinis. Also, amazing.
Great food, delicious drinks, & great service. Definitely coming back again.

Potato skins and bread, delicious. Dinner was good but not so good that it was worth an $80 check. Big mountain chocolate fudge cake was absolutely incredible though.

Of the two locations (I am aware of) in San Diego, this one is preferred for the food consistency and quality. I usually do the lunch special which includes drink & cookies. This lunch time special used to offer grilled salmon but Black Angus dropped that option a few years ago. The salmon should be brought back since it is the healthiest option. Location is right off the freeway so it is easy to get to and find.
