Love how close they are and that they have BEEF ribs! That haven't advertised yet, but the staff is really nice. Tri tip sandwich is amazing. I know they are still working out their kinks, and any problems that did come up they went above and beyond to make us happy in the end. I just wish they had a cider beer on tap :)

Great helpful service. The food a bit over priced. Ordering a la carte menu only gives them more of an opportunity to charge more for sides, that could easily be included in a meal. Tried most of the items in the menu, and it is flavorful. The only item that could use some more flavoring is the pork belly sliders.

Buckboard Catering was the most delicious food I've ever eaten at a wedding! Their food was prepared with fresh ingredients and the selection was great! They have drastically raised my standard of wedding cuisine and I would use them over again if I had the chance. The service was great and the staff was professional at all times even during the preparation leading up to the big day. We were never once concerned about how the food would turn out because they gave us all the confidence in the world that our wedding was just as important to them as it was for us!

I went here with some friends on Saturday night for the first time, and was VERY pleasantly surprised to find such a great new spot in El Cajon!

Every single staff person was so friendly, you felt right at home. They have an awesome outdoor patio, with large tables for big groups of people.

Most of us ordered the tri-tip sandwich suggested by our server. The sandwiches, along with the creamy macaroni and cheese, potato wedges, and fried mac and cheese balls were so delicious! Lots of food for the price too! Then....the grand finale came.....BREAD PUDDING! Delicious bread pudding made the way it should be! I almost ate the entire thing myself even though I am sure two or three people could have easily finished it off!

I will definitely be coming back to this the place. I really can't say enough about ALL the people who worked there! They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy and well fed! I can't wait to go back and try more of the food!

The staff was super friendly. We ordered the Combo Plate special it had tri-tip, pulled pork, and a chicken thigh/leg. Came with sides of Cole slaw, BBQ beans, potato salad and a corn bread muffin. It was more than enough to feed two people. We also ordered the Mac N Cheese and a side of Shh Puppies. Everything was delicious.
Has a great craft beer menu also. Definitely recommend!
