Hacienda Casa Blanca

Trust me, I have seen more than my fair share of Mexican Food and consider myself more than qualified to pen this review. I have had the occasion to visit Hacienda Casa Blanca several times. Located near Parkway Plaza in El Cajon, you'll find it convenient to get to with ample nearby parking. A recent renovation now provides plenty of seating indoors and out. The interior offers seating on two different levels. As you enter, there is a downstairs dining area to the left and a bar to right, offering multi level seating. Up a few stairs past the hostess station is a large dining area offering both booth and tables, depending upon your wants and needs.

We were brought here by friends while visiting the area and really enjoyed our dinner. Two things that are very important to me at Mexican restaurants is REAL tortilla chips, not out of a bag, and REAL fried taco shells, not the phony Taco Bell type. This restaurant had both. It was a large property with plenty of room and a comfortable ambiance. They also had a live band performing. Really a nice restaurant, recommend it.

Great service. Fun atmosphere. I want to come back to hear some of the live music they have lined up for the summer.

Consistently good food over the years. Name changes and owner changes not withstanding. They've added outside seating that is small but very nice. The noise level is high. They have excellent music at select times.

Awesome food! Cold beer and GREAT service. You have to check out the restaurant at Christmas. Beautiful decor, warms the soul with the fireplace going. It's like a big family holiday get together.
