Por Favor El Cajon

Great atmosphere at Por Favor in El Cajon. In normal times it would feel like a great patio experience, but it’s a nice treat during COVID. I felt safe with the spacing between the tables, but it was nice to be surrounded by people. The waiting staff and bussers were so polite and helpful when asking about food suggestions. In general this area of El Cajon has a very cool vibe.

Avocado Chicken Salad with beans is amazing! Service and staff are amazing! Great outdoor seating or order "to go" or grubhub it. Just do it. Bathrooms are clean as well - bonus!

This restaurant is doing an outstanding job of providing a real restaurant experience during the challenge of the pandemic. Ample outside seating, either on the sidewalk patio or in their pleasant courtyard. Tables are spaced out. Good food and drink served graciously in a nice atmosphere while carefully attending to safety.

A very welcoming experience. The patio area is pleasant and reminiscent of restaurants that I have visited in Mexico. The wait staff was friendly, the drinks were strong and the food was awesome. Everything you can ask for. Definitely will go back.

Good Mexican food. Especially liked the outdoor patio that was dog friendly. The waiter even brought a bowl of water for the dogs. Lots of lush planting. Great place for leisurely lunch with our dogs.
