Great spot to meet up with friends and have drinks. All the food I've tried is also very delicious, especially the pear and brie flat bread! Can be a long wait to be seated and slow service of you're outside and it's busy.
The Loco Moco had several good things going for it including nicely grilled pineapple rings, a rich mushroom-filled gravy, and hamburger patties that actually had a little pink in the center. Unfortunately the rice was so mushy it may as well have been mashed potatoes. In fairness I should probably note that I still ate the whole thing. The service was also friendly and good.
Absolutely the best Paella I have ever tasted. Great Atmosphere, Great Service.
Just make sure you have reservation. We went with out a reservation, but they fit us in. Nice people!
Went there for breakfast for the 1st time with a friend....I've been there for lunch and dinner times and enjoy the restaurant'snmenu and special presentation. In the case of breakfast, I had eggs and bacon with pancakes...which was good, standard breakfast and hard to mess up. That morning, the parking was easy and we had no.problem getting a table. But my friend, who eats there more frequently, had shrimp with grits...and it looked great..and he said it was better than it looked
So we have committed to returning soon when we will both order and enjoy the Shrimp and grits. The service was good, and our cups were always being warmed with a topping refill. Since I had a severe injury a few years back, mobility is an issue and distance from the parking lot to the restaurant sitting is always noticed....and this restaurant is really good in that regard.
Best restaurant while visiting San Diego, including the Gas Lamp district. Food was so flavorful, excellent Margaritas too!!
We enjoyed a live Jazz Combo with Velvet Sushi. They are excellent musicians and they appreciated our responsive sounds of enjoyment. I'd would go back here again anytime we are in the San Diego area.
