Hoshi Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi

The sushi was fantastic! Everything was really good, only thing I didn’t absolutely love was the ramen, I still ate it all of course, ha, but the broth had an unusual flavor too it that I didn’t love. I think I’ll try the miso ramen instead next time. Everything else about the experience was great.

We went again for a second trip during their posted business hours but the lights were off and door was locked. No sign or anything explaining why. We were a little confused.

Been here twice already, first time I got ramen (it was delicious, best ramen I’ve had around this area) and I just went again and had the Teppanayki chicken and shared with my husband it was amazing! The guy cooking the food was entertaining and funny and the food was well priced.

We like to come here for birthday dinners. It's been three different restaurants in the last several years. It's not generally very busy, but we never understand why, since the food is very good (although I guess it's a bit pricey). This time, we all loved the salad, but agreed that the soup wasn't as good as with the previous restaurants. My kids loved the edamame. My son devoured the calamari rings and said the kids orange chicken was very good. The shrimp and filet were the best we've ever had!! But, the fried rice wasn't as good as we've had in the past. As usual, the chef was funny and the service was good. My kids always enjoy the teppenyaki at this location!

Sushi was so fresh and good! The teppenyaki was fun and the meat quality was great too! They'll add extra garlic to your food if you want too! Try the mongo lychee sake shooters too!

Wonderful place and amazing staff. Don't miss out on this gem!!
