I did the combo deal, forget what it's called, it was a great portion for the price and the location is nicely in the heart of the boardwalk. Pizza was good, I got the Bapo which if you are looking for that iconic greasy pizza deliciousness it is not a good pick, but still good if you want to be all artsy

This has always been my favorite pizza place in SoCal. Sadly they have changed their formerly heavenly dough recipe to something more economical. Their original crust was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - a near perfect combination. However now the crust is dry and tough - as if it's a thick crust pizza refrigerated overnight. Refrigeration of bread changes the structure of the starches and makes it tough and chewy. This is why bakeries will freeze bread but not refrigerate it. Please go back to your original recipe as it was the thing that differentiated you from the lesser pizza places. I miss that superb pizza. I hope it comes back.

We had a pizza here for lunch and it was fabulous. We ordered the large meat special pizza and it was more than enough to eat. A small pizza would have been plenty for a couple for lunch. I tend to over order and then make sure I eat it all if good. I did leave one piece. The service was very good and the price was great.

By far my favorite location because who doesn’t love the quaint strip of local shops and eats on coast highway?! I love that they offer fresh salads and high quality pizza. There’s something for everyone on their menu.

Delicious pizza, spotty service. A few of the people who work there are very nice. Others are okay to interact with much of the time but sometimes they are not. One time I was in there, two of the guys at work there all but rolled their eyes in the back of their head at me. They looked very snooty. One of them just hovers in front of the cash register while people are looking at pizza in the case. And then he gets irritated when people don't realize that they should go to the cash register to place an order. Most places like that where you pay at the counter, you order the food where the food is, and then you go to the register to pay the cashier after you order your food. That's the way they do it at Starbucks and most other places that have that kind of setup. So the guy shouldn't be assuming everybody should automatically know that's the way it is. Maybe the owner needs to put signs up with an arrow that says "order here" "pay here". Maybe they need to train the staff better.
In short, the attitude of those two guys was so disturbing it made me almost not want to come back. If it were easier to find halfway decent Pizza in California I wouldn't even bother going there.
