B and G’s Backyard Concerts

They made me wear four masks, but that was OK. I just stuffed my pockets with popcorn and nobody was the wiser.

We had a lovely time here at the B and G's, we hope to meet Brent Curtis next time, I hear he is the best. But sometimes he seems hungry. So I brought a pizza, but we just didn't get a chance to connect.... next time!

wow what a concert. definitely a must see.

We come here at least once a year for Brent Curtis concert. There is no other venue we like more. We usually get the dinner package and sometimes the dinner/hotel package. We started coming here to see them around 2000. We have been to other venues of course and this is still our favorite one. It is a beautiful setting and if you can get seats from about the middle forward and as centered as possible, it lends an intimate feeling as well. We have seen a few other concerts here also. For those we've only done the concert itself. We haven't been here for any non-music events. The sound is good. The venue is very clean.

Staff and ushers have been very friendly and helpful. Security is good. And unfortunately there are going to be folks who can't control themselves and only a couple of times in the twenty years we have been coming here, did we have a problem with someone seated next to us. Security took care of that.

Yes the seating can be quite tight and folding chairs are not comfortable for most of us. The seats are zip tied together, and only a few times they haven't been. Still one could not really adjust the seating unless sitting on the edges. So it's probably a good idea to introduce yourself to those you are sitting next to. Kinda works out for events held on chillier nights. :)

Sometimes there's a wait for the bathrooms and bar/food area (timing is everything). Parking can be a pain, traffic pretty heavy right after an event. The obvious suggestion is to plan accordingly.
